I have gotten all the plastic rivets out from the top on the grill, but underneath the bumper cover are two clips with screws in them, and the screws are turned upside down ( the head of the screw facing the ground).Do I remove the bumper cover to access these or would someone have a different solution?

You just pull the bumper upward and forward to give you extra room to get to those bolts.. it bends pretty far so no worries.

...and a screwdriver still won't fit.

I used a screwdriver bit held with a pair of pliers. It took a little longer, but it works.

You're not supposed to be able to get a screwdriver in there. You use a socket with a crosspoint apex bit in it.

I did my grill delete so long ago...but aren't those screws hexagonal? I think I remember using a normal wrench.

I just pulled the cover off when I did my grill delete. It is only on by 4 bolts, two on each side right in front of the wheel. Tricky to get to but won't take longer than 5-10 minutes to get off. Makes the install so much easier, I recommend taking it off.

Man that sounds like more work than i would want! I ahve the neat ratcher attachment that lest you bend it in any direction, making it easy to get in those hard places. It was only a few dollars...totally worth it.
