Anyone know how to delete the Grille on your 99+ up mustang gt? I like how the Mach 1's are...no honeycomb grille just the pony in the middle.

You need to buy the grill delete kit like the one from CDC or Steeda.

Buy a grill delete. There a dime a dozen. I have one on my car. Around $50. Just about everything mustang online store or mustang shop sells them.

Problem is I can't order stuff off the Internet...I asked my mom if she would buy it for me with her credit card and I give her the money and she said she doesn't want her credit card on the Internet because someone might steal it.

I heard you can get it from your local ford dealership though? I dunno...but they are closed right now have to wait till monday after school.

Thats not a very wise choice giving someone your account number and doing that...I think i'll spend the extra at the ford dealership....hopefully it won't be over 70 bucks or so..

wow..mom's and internet fraud...I have bought literally a thousand things online...and sold even more...never had a problem with someone stealing a credit card number...and that isn't the problem...identity theft is...you can almost always track someone if they use your credit card...whatever they buy has to go somewhere....

Yeah no ****...I try to tell her that no one is going to steal it and if they do they can catch who did it by tracking their IP Number and contact their local isp for their information and then arrest the bastards.

I never understood the fascination for going without a grill.

Where in TX are you? If you're next door, I'll buy it and you can come get it.

For me it's the chrome ring around the pony that turned me off. I just don't think it looked right on the new Mustangs. Even the '05's took the ring away and i think it looks better.

I don't think i'm alone in my thinking. The Bullitt and Saleen have blacked out rings around the pony and Ford decided to go back to the old grill with the Cobra and Mach 1. With so many Grill Deleted GT's, whenever i see the ring aorund the pony i think V6

If you call around I'm sure someone will ship you one COD, or take a money order. It shouldn't be that hard.

I just got mine from Steeda last week

You hit the nail on the head. I HATE that stupid ring. Something about it just makes it look ghetto and when I see them I just automatically think the car is a v6.

I agree aswell ,sept for the V6 thing.
Especially after seeing the Bullit's having a black ring,i could not stand my chrome corral from the day i bought it.So i painted it satin black, and was satisfied until the delete kit was available. The chrome looks like... .
