I got two payments yesterday:

Steven Pensinger & Chris Karpesh, that is 10 orders.

The GB ended today it was up to the 10th, which is today. It ended last night (9th) at midnight.

Like mentioned before we are still honoring the 5% off any of these products for any of the applications available, up until the Group has theirs sent out. We will be processing their additional 5% refund for the purchase of 10 units.

Alright I was reading on the original thread, and there seems to be some mass confusion as to how to rate heat exchangers (i.e. rad).

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=703015

They are rated in heat (i.e BTU) rejection rate.

To compare two heat exchangers:
The primary method to compare two heat exchangers for a single certain application should be comparing the surface area/volume ratio. While many other factors affect the amount of heat rejected from a heat exchanger, for a single application we need to hold these constant (ambient air temp, air speed across fins, inlet coolant temp, etc.) unless something in either of the designs changes them.

Many of you were talking about comparing the overall size of the heat exchanger, and that is only one part of it, we need to know fin area, tube diameter, coolant volume, etc.

Anyone that designs heat exchangers (i.e. this company) will have this data (unless they are rebadging/ripping off designs). While I understand this data can sometimes be proprietary, I would love to have this published so we can inspect.

Here is some good reading if you want to learn more about the wide world of heat transfer and thermodynamics:

I wanted to thank you for doing this group buy for us at Stangnet!

Were you going to be getting these in next week?

Thanks again,
Tom

I just emailed the seller asking when he expects to ship the radiators. Also the 5% refund. I was going to post it on this sticky when I find out...or if you want to close it I can start a new thread?

Here is the latest info,

He dosen't have an exact date as of right now. They are still in transit. The moment they arrive at port here in the USA, they will go through customs and then he will have a delivery date. The refunds will be sent as each order is full filled.

If you want to order any of these products. you can still get the 5% off by calling or paypal@kteller.com the amount to us. Please call if your not sure on the amount to paypal.

Once they arrive and begin shipping out, then the 5% will not be available anymore and the discounts will be sent back out to those ten who got in.

Shouldn't be but a few more days on these. If you guys need anything else or would like another gb on any products, please contact me (mike) and ill see exactly what kind of pricing work we can do.

We have been nothing but pleased with the Stang Net family and hope to continue to be a part of the forum.

edit: Make sure you paypal or call in the payments. If you order directly from the retail website, you will pay the retail store price. To get the 5% we're offering you have to call in your payment or paypal us directly with the information from the orginal page.

ok they have arrived at port & have cleared customs. We expect them to leave customs and arrive this evening/tomorrow morning at the main warehouse. They will be on their way to our store tomorrow. Should take about 3 days to get to me, then from there we will start getting them out to everyone. Any last min orders, must be in by tonight for the 5%. The discount for the other group will be applied back once they ship out. if you paid via debitcard/paypal, you might have to withdrawal the funds from your paypal account to your bank to get it back in your checking account. i am not sure 100% how they do the refunds/credits.

We have the weights and dimensions already set, so we will begin to get tracking numbers available very shortly. Also note its not much but the price has gone up on these. $189.99 they changed the boxes to a little bit more of a durable box and strapping each one now.

Thanks again to everyone

once everything is here and out and finished, we will process one big list of tracking numbers for everyone.
