I have run both the 1/2" and currently a 1"

I have run em with every intake combo I have run....Biggest thing is the cooler temp of the upper...I really can't say I noticed a power increase....I ran a 3/8 on my stock Tmoss ported set-up, Explorer set-up and a 93 cobra set-up...I ran the 93 with no spacer at first...one time i was tuning and the motor was hot..I touched the upper and couldn't believe the freakin heat...you could hardly lay your hands on it...I then changed VCs and threw a 3/8 spacer...The temp dif was some much different...i could drive it some, then put my hand right on the upper...serious difference in upper temps...Thats a plus to me...cooler charge has gotta be worth something..

I recently swapped a GT40 upper and had to use a 1" spacer...at first I was leary of that much...Well the first thing i notice after the swap is how much more hit or pull the motor has with this upper, it feels stronger...Just in normal driving when rolling into it....Its odd, but I have run all of FRPP uppers, using a Tmoss ported lower with em all, and either the GT40 is that much better than the rest of the FRPP uppers, or that 1" spacer had something to do with it??? I did nothing but the upper swap...not a bit of tuning...

Thats my observations.... I would choose to run spacers for just the temp dif I have seen...

I can't tell a difference with or without it. I run a 3/8" on my Cobra.

just a suggestion, don't put funny options in your polls as that is the only one people will pick--like me.
