Pace setter is better than stock I GUESS but its still trash. Get a UPR x-pipe if you are looking for a cheap midpipe. More difficult to intall from what i hear but still better than pacesetter.

All h-pipes are crap. I would go with Bassani stainless X-pipe.

Yep...I have heard nothing but bad things about Mac. I dont have any personal experience with mac though. I went with the Bassani catted x. Its good quality, and it comes with extra tubing just in case u want to delete the cats. None of them give u that much more power anyway...Its just a matter of what type of sound you want. H pipes have a more classic muscle car tone, and x pipes kinda have a throaty, nascar type of sound to them.

Mac = If you can get it to fit

BBK = terrible welds on their H pipe and also rasp with their X pipe with chambered muffs

Bassani = better quality but rasp with chambered muffs.

MAC makes a great exhaust for the price. I also hear if you have any problems they back their product well. I have no complaints with the prochamber and flowpaths that I have had for a year.

I bought a MAC off road H pipe from mustangs unlimited and it fitted great.. actually, it went on way easier than i thought it would. I have a little gas escaping on one o the joins (ball ands socket type) so i sealed it up and now its all goo.... the sound is amazing, really roars between 2000 and 4000 rpm, then i dont know if the roar stops or if its happening behind me and i cant hear it... but it sounds awesome...

I did the whole install on a set of wooden ramps i made, they only lift the car 10" at the front but that was enough. THe hardest bit was getting the original h pipe off..

good luck with whatever one you choose..

H's are crap huh. That's pretty funny considering my MRT H-pipe is some of the best quality I've seen, flows like a mofo and sounds completely bad ass, absolutely no rasp at all compared to X's. I wouldn't dog all H's especially quality ones. It all comes down to what the individual likes. You'll hear differenent opinions but supposedly X's are supposed to provide more up top and H's down low - to each his own though.
