what company halos? we used to install them at work into Chrysler LX cars, but inverters and halos would fail within 2 months 90% of the time.

which model lights, got a pic? Its probably the led for the halos went bad it has a diode that can go sometimes. you can find replacement leds for halos for sale online but they are gonna run ya 20-30 bucks each, i had one go bad and bought 2. I might sell ya mine and give ya a deal if u r interested its pretty simple to swap out.

So is there a halo ring around your headlights or foglights?

heres where i bought mine here is the link to the standard dual led halo ring light
Replacement Halo / Angel Eye LED Bulb for Aftermarket Headlights - White (single) - LED-HALO
They are $25 plus shipping kinda steep, like i said i bought 2 just in case and hadn't had a problem since so i would sell u one cheaper if its the right bulb. The diode/resistor is inside the black rubber grommet that the 2 leds are coming out of.

Take a look at the back of your light and see if theres a spot where this light plugs into so u can pull it out and swap, it the light is sealed then u are screwed and would have to replace the whole thing.

the wires go from the diode to a connector...can I reuse those or do I need to buy a new snap connector?......anything special about these connectors?

No problem, yeah it sucked when i only had one working too so i know how u feel. Depends on the type of connector if it is a crimp you probably can't reuse it you could buy a new connector or splice the new halo led in. I'm going to take a pic of the spare led i have and post it and shoot you and email if u wanna buy it. I might have some connectors too i will look.
