Ok,

I just want to know if anyone has any pinion shims left over from there install there willing to spare?

I guess Carrier shims too but I dont want to be pushy,

also anyone got any tips for getting bearings on without a press?
Pinion bearings to be exact,

Ive heard boiling them works, has anyone ACTUALLY done this?
Or is it an old wifes tail

take it to a transmission shop. Most of them have presses. They will do it for you

Yes but to install the pinion you have to make sure you have the correct shim on it,

this could involve taking the bearing off the pinion a few times to get the right shim on
