a buddy of mine gave me a good peice of advise a long time ago. He says, when your buying little engine hop ups and bolt ons, or replacement parts, alwasy go the extra mile to get the top quality parts, because the cheap ones break, and the good ones make a good selling point

I've always had good success with the plumbing section at Home Depot.

I made one for my buddies 98 GT that we swapped on the dyno. It picked up 5rwhp and 6ft/lbs over stock. If I remember correctly, it cost about 25 bucks.

That's awesome. Nothing like doing it yourself!

BTW, the Ebay one I bought for my Stang didn't fit either.
$50 down the tube!

If you are looking for a cheap CAI that fits. I bought one from racing_guys off ebay. They were fast and all the necessary parts were there. I paid like $35 for it. But do not expect any power gains, infact, when I put my S/C on, I actually lost power. It did look nice though, and it changed the exhaust note.

I did that too, I just now switched it out cus I got a good deal on a MAC, and I like the looks of it. A little nicer than flat black ABS.
