head gasket or intake

ok well i just replaced a head gasket on my 90 mustang gt and i got it all put together drove it alittle no problem then all the sudden it started overheating i shut it off and let it cool down took the radiator cap off and started it and when it warmed up it started blowing water out of the radiator what do you guys think???? could it be the other head gasket or lower intake

It sounds as if you put one or both head gaskets on backwards. Did you pay attention to the "front" stamped into the gasket?

well i pulled my head off and there was atf sittin in the #8 cylinder but i don't see anything wrong with the head gasket and can't find any cracks i dunno what i should do now?

transmission fluid in the motor, did you notice any white heavy smoke through the pipes. you should have. how did that get in there. hope it wasn't just a air bubble in the system because if it was, you just wasted time and money taking it back apart

no it wasn't just air bubbles i tryed to get all the air out but it don't work and it wasn't bubbling it was spraying water out the radiator everytime it was on a compression stroke but there are no cracks that i can see ane the gaskets weren't cracked or anything so i dunno what it would be unless the intake gasket didn't seal up i dunno

head gaskets backwards? the cooling holes always go in the back

well i bought felpro's and it has front stamped on one side then you flip it over and its stamped on the other side the opposite end
