I'm at a loss for info. I'm doing a T-5 to C-4 swap, the C-4 is a large bell pan fill tranny, I will change the bell, get the right flexplate, etc. But will my MAC 1 5/8" Longtubes from my T-5 setup work with a pan fill C-4??? Anyone do this before, please help...

Any long tube that is advertised will fit around a C4. If it fits around an AOD, it will fit around a C4. Now, I have a C6, that is a different story.

So that means my Longtubes for a T-5 will work with a large bell, pan fill C4?

hmmm... I was told my MAC LT's would fit around any auto I wanted to shove in there...That was what was making me go with a g-force rebuilt t5 over a auto like i wanted.

It all depends on what auto. They will not fit around a C6. C4, Turbo 350 or 400, Powerglide, yes. C6, don't even waste your time.

Right on!! Thanks for the info. At least now I dont have to worry about selling my exhaust and having to buy stuff for an AOD to fit my pan fill large bell C-4.

JoeGT86: How hard is it to convert from a T5 to AOD/C4? I was thinking about doing the same.

The swap is just a matter of having the parts (tranny, flywheel, shifter, linkage, etc.). Making sure things fit is the key. That's why I was so curious about my headers clearing a C-4.

I considered an AOD swap, but I don't want to buy new headers nor do I want to find the tranny. I have a C-4 sitting in my garage and I have an AOD flywheel that I'm going to use with my C-4.

I hope that helps.
