Header ?'s

Well guys, ive determined my next and probaly final engine mod (dad is to smart for his own good :P ) is going to be headers. But after doing some research.. there are about 100000 diffrent types of headers! I am in need of some help. I want to have good ground clearance (cant be dragging everywhere but i dont mind goin over speed bumps very slowly etc) and i dont want to restrictive of headers. So here are some that ive come up with so far:

Tri-y's seem to be a popular choice. Ive heard there not to restrictive and your ground clearence is still good. Anyone vouch for this?

im not sure what the diffrence is between those 2 but it looks like the design is a tad diffrent. Anyone care to explain?

One last question.. how will the sound of my car be affected? I got 40 series flowmasters on there and there loud... but louder is always better right?:D Will the headers make it any louder/change the pitch? Thanks guys if you could just answer those questions/give me any general header advice/information that would be great. Have a good one

top is tri Y's and bottom is hedman but i guess you knew that...im lookin for some tri y's myself for my next mod...i would suggest the ceremic coated tho because the black ones will turn a rusty color and the chrome ones will get a blueish tint to them after awhile...so im prolly ognna spend the extra 50 to 70 bux for the ceremic ones pretty soon...

Definately ceramic!

Definatly get ceramic whatever you get...unless you get jet hot or something...

I got the ceramic tri-y's from mustangs unlimited...waiting for the guy to finish the floor pans and install the headers and the 2.5" exhaust, X pipe and flowmasters...

So I cannot comment on fit or sound yet...

I did post some pics of the headers...do a search and use my nae in the search field...

Anyhow...Good luck!
