I am the proud owner of a 2000 Mustang, and I have noticed my headlights have a hazy look on the lens. I wanted to know if anyone else has ever had this problem, and if so do you know of anything I can to to make the lenses clear again?

This is a VERY common problem for Mustangs. Do a SEARCH and you will find all types of ways to correct this. How well it works depends on which method you use and how hazy your lights are. For only minor haze on the outside of the lens use Meguiar's Plastic-X scratch remover (something like that) if it's on the inside or more major on the outside you might have to do the wet sand method. Do the search, you should find more than enough information here to educate you on the proper method of cleaning.
to narrow down your search a little i remember seeing something in the sound and shine board about this...i dont remember what it was exactly so i cant help you with the problem myself, but i just thought i would chime in
i have the same problem on my 99, there are a few products out there that are plastic restorers, they arent quick as efective as they say they are, but i used this one i got from ebay for 7 bucks, it made the lens a lot less hazy and i am happy for 7 bucks. Just dont be affraid to try a few different things, i also tried wet sanding with 2000 gritt paper, then using polishing compound, that didnt really work for me, but i now know i should have used a good wax made for plactics. Whatever you find to work probably wont last too long, so be prepaired to repeat the process every few months i would say.
