headlight install

can anyone show me a link that shows how to install headlights on my 1998 mustang...

There is a metal clip that slides between the top 2 bolts and that bracket the headlight is connected too. Slide those two clips off, pinch the plastic parts on the bolts and slide it out. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out how they were on there, but it's no big deal. Just don't force it, there should be no struggle in getting them off.

Get a Haynes or Chiltons Mustang book... there's some pretty useful stuff (lots of pictures) in there for dismantling stuff

its very easy. its about a one minute job. there are two clips on each headlight that you pull straight up to take out. then just unhook the signal and headlight and youre good to go.

okay these two clips ure talking about are metal ones right...and they are on the ones nearest the the radiator...if ure talking about that, those things are freakin hard to take out...maybe u can show me or tell me a technique..

I hate to be offensive but if you're finding it hard to take those pins out, you need to hit the gym. Course, you could be pulling the wrong thing or they might be messed up or something.

Hayes repair manual....IMO thats a book on how to totally F*** up your car...if you don't have any idea what you're doing.....lol

My friends thought I was kidding when I said I could take my headlights off in 30 seconds.
Boy, were they amazed.
