If you are looking for an easy no splicing way to do the headlight relay mod, get the A1C Universal H4 Upgrade Harness Kit, part #: 50.9103.

The directions are quite bad but the installation itself is quite easy. The kit comes with two relays (one for the high beam and the other for the low beam) with bracket, and the wire sit with plugs preinstalled. The plugs are of same size and shape as the stock plugs so you can just unplug the stock plugs and plug in the new plugs. You then take one of the stock plugs and plug it into the wiring kit (again, the terminal is of same size and shape as the factory headlights) to control the relays. Then ground the appropriate ground wires and run the red wire to the positive side of the battery and you are finished. Really, it's that simple and it made a VERY noticeable difference in the light output.

The kit's kinda pricy at $50, but I think that it was worth it since I didn't have to splice into the factory wiring and the whole procedure took less than 30 minutes

I decided to place the relays near the battery.

I get it from a Checker Auto Parts store. I initally picked up a pair of relays and when I told the parts guy of my intention, he recommend that kit.

Their web URL is http://www.4apc.net.

Painless Wiring makes a setup like that as well. I think it is a little more pricy though.

You could also make your own setup like this by buying an a set of headlight connectors, realys and following the realy wiring diagrams floating around

The A1C kit looks similar to the Painless kit, although I'm pretty sure that Painless kit will be of better quality.
