I can only offer SOTP right now, but dyno numbers will follow in a few weeks??? Anyway, it feels the same up to about 3,000 RPMs, then where it used to rev about as fast as a snail with a broken leg (I stole this from somewhere --- sorry, dude it's funny), now it takes off like a rocketship. I will report dyno #'s ASAP. The best part is my exterior is stock as a rock and looking at the engine, the only thing that stands out is the aluminum crossover on the intake. The people that know the most about these cars are obviously US, so the worst suckers are gonna be all you 99-04 GT's that know all about how slow the 96-98 cars are...

Hey theosan, I see you have the Diablo tune and you're looking for a better tuner. Do you think SCT would be a better route or ??? Also, does it take a while for the stock computer to make adjustments or is it like a lightswitch on and off??? It seems like there is a lot of hocus pocus smoke and mirrors talk about this. School me!

I have the SCT switch chip, and yup, it's just like a light switch.

C'mon I gave you mad props with this: (I stole this from somewhere --- sorry, dude it's funny). I even went back and inserted this after I thought about it. I can't wait to get my dyno numbers. I hope I have a high HP freak, because I don't have a digital phone or a scanner and I'm gonna type my numbers up and wait for y'all to flame flame flame. Then, I'll just cuss up a storm on here and get thrown off so I don't have to back it up.

I"m really happy with the results after my headswap. I like my car again
That would be great if you'd post your new numbers from the Dyno test. I'd really like to see how that beast of yours likes it's new Xmas present [well, allmost Xmas]
Any problems doing the swap?

NO PROBLEMS FOR ME. I paid someone to do it. They had the standard complaints about the dipstick tube and all of the wrenching. Did a good job, though and saved me a lot of heartache. I gotta go. Yuengling is starting to answer for me. Thanks for all the input!

Easy dude, you're only making about another about another 10hp than a '99-up. It's still a drivers race.

Gee Gearbanger, I see from your last four post that you are full of joy this morning. Must be especially cold up North??? Cut me some slack and let a brother have some fun for a while.

Nah, just in serious mode this morning. Comes with having to be at work for 5am. Don't worry, I'll be full of $hit, just like the rest of them by early this afternoon.

I'm at work, also. Just got the car last night and it's buck season here in PA right now. I drove it last night and this morning in the dark trying not to make deer jelly. Can't wait till after work when I can see. OH GOD NO, Moderater please move this to talk. It turned into a BS session and it's my fault. I'll take the full blame and I'm sorry. It'll never happen again.
