I'm having trouble with my 351C with long tube headers not cranking when hot. If I let it cool for 10 minutes, it's fine. I bought a wrap style heat shield for the starter but now I'm wondering if it's would cook the it like a baked potato. Should I wrap the headers near the starter instead or??? I don't want to go to a mini starter unless I absolutely have to. Any experience in this area?
