My wife has an 06 gt and I was looking at seat heater kits on ebay for her. She drives a ton, and it would be nice for her. Has anyone installed one of the aftermarket kits into their cars? I know 07+ have it as an option. Anyway to retrofit that?
Man I'd like to know too. I drive a lot and sometimes use my wifes Flex which has them. When I get back in my 06 GT, no more. Never bothered me when I lived in Miami...LOL.
I bought the cheap one. Spend the extra few dollars for the installation kit. It comes with a cheap set of hog ring pliers (that work well), a hole saw, and enough hog rings for the install.
I've had it in my truck for a couple of years now and will never own another vehicle without heated seats. I'm sure I'll be doing this to the car soon. I'll try and remember to get pictures of the install.
