Head gaskets are fairly simple to replace, they just take a fair amount of time, Most shops will charge alot to do it just because of the time involved. Crazy because all need to buy is the gasket and silicone, and need a good torque wrench. You basically have to take off the entire top end of the engine.

If your not in a jam, and have extra time I would definately do it. I think I have to replace one on my mitsubishi.

the job of doing it isnt hard its just time consuming i did it in my garage with just basic tools with an exception to a torque wrench and fuel line tools, like the guy before me said your baisicly removing your whole topend so you just need all the gaskets and silicon. if you have a shop do it they will charge you at least 8 -10 hours plus parts so youll save yourself a ton of $ doing ti yourself

Any service manual will walk you through the whole process. The Haynes and Chiltons manuals are very good and have detailed pictures.

Try throwing in a little punctuation once in awhile!

If you have a 94-98 I could possibly scan in the instructions to you. Or if you just want the book itself I could sell you it, I don't really have much use for mine anymore except for general information due to similiar parts.
