Hello from Dearborn MI!
I am new to the forums and about to start my 1st car restoration and looking for any advice, tricks or wisdom others are willing to share. I have a 73’ mach 1 with a 351C 2v with ram air, and FMX.
The 1st issue I was looking to tackle was a car lift. I am looking for something a little safer than 4 jack stands. I have a standard height garage and can’t use a 2 post lift, was wondering if anyone has used a mid rise lift or has any better suggestions.
As for starting the actual restoration if figured I would start with fixing the rear driver side floor pan (floor pan drain plug is rusted). Then rebuild the engine and clean up the engine bay then move on to body work… If anyone has done this before and has a good plan of attach I am all ears!
