It must have been ordered for either Super Stock Drag Racing, or the "Wolf in sheep's clothing" street racer.

I can attest from my old Mach, these cars, when running good, are brutal!

did you have a set of 15" GT wheels on this car at one time? maybe i'm just thinking of a similar car, though. if i had a dream car other than my 69 GT M code coupe it would be a 69 SCJ GT coupe (or CJ GT coupe) preferably a Q code though so there wouldn't be ANY external clues to the car's true identity.

Yes, July 04 Mustang Monthly and May 04 Legendary Fords. I replaced the style steel wheels last month. Wanted to go with the dog dish caps when I assembled the car, but it took along time to find the wheels and paint them gold.

The car must have been orderd for some serious street racing. Some one has cut the supports behind the dash so a small N2O bottle could be hidden there.

It is a rare pup. Ford made 52 coupes in 69 with the SCJ in it. I am sure when you figure in the 4 spd, color and few other options it is a one of one. For what ever that is worth.

I bought the car in 95. It was painted but in pieces. Took a car hauler and four pickup loads to get it all home. Right after I bought it I had alot of changes in my life so the coupe sat for 6 years till I got the itch to put it together. Two years later I finaly drove it for the first time. What a blast!! Now my 16 year old step daughter has claimed it for herself when I die.

Thanks for the welcome and kind words. Larry

I was actually going to build a clone just like that one day, except I was going to use the standard hood scoop instead of the shaker. Love the color, love the wheels, love everything about it. Get a Marti report and see what the numbers shake out to be.
