Hey all, I am in a bit of a pickle. I have a mercury cougar XR7 that had a 4R70W and the auto wasn't my cup of tea. SO I ended up doing a T-45 Swap, everything went well, but when I went to drive the car home, I only have first, fifth, and reverse grinds. So no 2nd, third, or fourth. I'm thinking Synchros or shift forks, can anyone else provide some ideas as to what you think it might be? I've talked about it on a lot of mercury/ thunderbird forums, but I figured where else to ask about a T-45 than somewhere where almost everyone has one haha. It's a 99-mid-01 (electronic speedo sensor), 80k miles, running Fresh Mercon V 3.2 qts. Brand new RAM HDX clutch kit. I did all the work myself, everything is new from the crankshaft back to the diff (minus the tranny i got for $200 off craigslist )
