So I tried Gordito's. Wasn't worth the money, and the wait was forever. La Fuente in renton highlands has some really good food.

you are very likely to be the only non hispanic person in one of these.. that is if youre non hispanic. lol. a mexican guy i work with has been trying to get me to the one place more authentic which is in tacoma somewhere. i dont even know the name of that spot.

at any rate, these people do it up really really good! http://elrinconsito.com/ lots of spanish being spoken, lots of hispanics and they even play the spanish channel on televisions. enjoy.

seriously contemplating a plane trip for a burrito.

La Tienida i think it was called.. San Clemente. No one spoke english. My mexican friend showed me the place, and I eventually ate there so often when I showed up they laughed and made me my chorizo without waiting. i also would tip before paying.

I'll have to check out a couple of those places listed.. thanks for the ideas people!

Haha, Adalberto's is legendary amongst the Bangor sub base guys. All us submariners always talk about that place when we pull into San Diego.

Yeah, Jalapenos makes tasty food. It's nice that it's just a few miles up the road from me .

For my fast-food Mexican quick-fix I usually run over to Muchas Gracias (or rather, Muchas Greasias as we call it at work ).
