HELP! Car is pinging

I just brought my car out of storage and installed a new fuel pump, it drove fine at first for 5min then it started pinging real bad, and seems like not enough fuel is getting to the motor.
what could this be?
Ill step on it and it hesitates and then goes seems like not enough fuel
lots of fumes coming out of exhaust
let me know right away

car is still pinging and bucking, wont even chirp 1 to 2nd, blue fumes coming from exhaust, can smell fuel.
first time its ever done this, my T/A is set at 14, could it need new gas because I have not filled it since I brought it outta storage

Ummm yea I think if you "STORE " youre car the octaine would drop as it sat and to have youre timing at 14 deg is high for "old" fuel. I would set it back to 11 deg untill you can get some 92+ octaine in there.........jj
