Does anyone know where i could find a somewhat cheap early 351w in Colorado and surrounding areas.
Im trying to find one that i could do a mild build. It will be going into a 66 coupe.

I have been looking for awhile and have come up empty handed.

i have a 351w block, but i wont ship it. if you want to come down to tucson, or send someone to get it, its yours. it does need some machine work because the number 2 main bearing in the motor spun, but i have a replacement cap for it, though it will also need work because the engine that it was in also started to spin the main bearing. i also have the crank, rods and pistons. and if you want to build a 393w, i have a set of .030 302 pistons new in the box. you can have it all for $200. but again, i will not ship it.

I'd like to come see it. I am hoping you can hold it for me. I won't be able to get there for a week or so. I live a little north of Denver & need to arrange some time off & see if my dad could make it too.

i have had this block for a number of years now, so it is going no where.

by the way, what transmission are you planning on putting behind the engine?

I probably put a 4 spd toploader in there for now and then sometime down the I might change over to a t56. But I am really not set on anything right now, I'm open to anything.

Also will I need to get a new exhaust system or do any trimming to work with the new headers that will be required for the swap. Yes I want to get new exhaust but if I don't have to i may go with something else instead like new springs for the front and rear.
