help-I'm stuck at work

I deceided to check the voltage on my iac at work since we got a meter here. after checking it i went to start the car, but i forgot to plug it back in. the car clicked for a second and then all power stopped. nothing works know, car wont turn over. Please help

by the way the battery was hooked up the whole time if that makes a diff.

Do the old wiggle test on the battery cables, if it powers back up stick your head out the window and watch the battery terminals as you hit the key. On should pop and smoke a little if it does it again.

thanks guys, problems fixed. It was just something I over looked-- a short in one of the wires connecting to the IAC.

actually I sure did get overtime. Double pay too.
