Hi,

when i bought the saleen the guy also gave me a set of PI heads (with cams in etc.) and a pair of long tube headers. The heads are due to go on when i get all the forged internals but I want to put these longtubes on now....and I know its a major PITA but i think with these, an off road H and the Saleen/Borla catback it should sound awesome....

only problem is i dont know what longtubes they are, in turn this means i cant buy the correct H pipe for them....which in turn sucks ...

Hopefully someone here will know what make they are and which midpipe will go on

heres the pics..

the collector is 2 1/2" diameter...

I knoe theyre rusted at the collector end but hey dont look to have any holes. I was thinking of painting then heat wrapping them before i put them on, this should keep the underhood temp down a bit....

so.... any ideas who made these things ?

thanks

You can spot Macs' bad product quality a mile away.

All headers will look like that over time if you drive the car in the rain.
They look to be in good shape other than the rust. Mac headers make good power.

It's mac.

All headers will not look like that over time.

Man of our customers have real ceramic headers that are driven year round in snow and salt in Detroit and 5-years later they look mostly new, with an occasional flake or chip.

Mac parts here last 2 years tops before they rust through. Their "triple-chrome" tailpipes are awful and usually start pitting in a few months.

Why not throw those in the trash where they belong and
get a nice set of Bassani long tubes!
