I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace my clutch. check this picture out and please tell me if you think it needs to be replaced. also wondering what brand it is. anyone ever seen the little globe badge on any clutch? the pressure plate says f&s clutch performance but I can't find any info on them. thanks.

edit: to me it looked like a spec stage three. pressure plate is blue and all plus the 6 puck disk. thanks!

why do you think it needs replacing? I mean, what was it doing(or not) that made you take it out?

I actually pulled the engine to redo gaskets for heads, upper + lower intake, oil pan, timing cover, water pump, valve cover, rear main seal. also while I have the engine out I should just get gt40 heads but we'll see.

so anyway its been working fine just that it looks worn down. but then again I don't know what it should look like.

It appears to bea 6 puck Stage 3 SPEC, the key is how much material is left above the rivots. If you can get an accurate measurement you can call SPEC and see what they say.

It looks pretty worn but it is hard to truly tell with out seeing the profile or having it in my hands. Hows the PP look?

your rear main has been leaking, some oil has gotten in there and on the clutch. you have everything apart and from the pics it looks very close, if you have the xtra beans why not just tackle it now. Murphys law will tell you when you put it back together a month from now or even less the clutch will start slipping and you will hate yourself

alright... maybe I'll go
with a spec stage 1 this time... mods are only full exhaust and cam (b or e), MM LCAs, 4.10s , this spec stage three is overkill.

I'm guessing that is just a sticker from a random shop that installed the clutch maybe?
