These are the 6 gauges I bought from Equus. Mechanical is the way to go for me. Only ran about 200 bucks and increased cool factor a bit. Need to make better background for them out of more rigid material but you get the idea.

What seats are you running in that thing and how is the paint and body? Still saving to do my paint job right. Really looks like you've spared no expense on this job. Did a ground-up build just like me(minus the fuel pump ) Though it sounds like you've been doing it a while it's good you didn't cut corners. Gauges, switches and harness= around 500 for me

I got a 5" tach and shift light for free (dont ask) but they arent mounted yet.. I got stewart warner mechanical water temp and mech oil pressure gauges installed where the a/c vents are.... (kinda hard to see in the pic)

I like how you went with the metal like that for your gauges Ill probably do something just a little different after shes running. I have some stock seats ill probably throw in there till i get some other junk upgraded (brakes, springs, shocks etc) the paint is a sore subject honestly. i took it to a "reputable" guy to get the color changed from red to blue. he had the car for 6 months. I told him it had to be kept inside because i took the sunroof out and the windows were down (i gave it to him with no motor or trans in it to make it easy to spray the engine bay) well, 6 months later it still wasnt done. that piece of (bad word) left the car outside the whole time, and didnt spray it till i called him, told him i wwanted my car back and a refund. so he did a half assed paint job, and expected me to be happy with it. It will get me by for now, but i want it all redone probably by next year. if you noticei n the engine bay pics, its all black. I did that myself because this is what he left me with when i picked the car up....

Ive had the car apart for 4 years now. i bought everything to rebuild it, then the lady i was married to left all of our bills 3 months behind and decided we were getting a divorce. so i had to sell everything except the rolling chassis and block to pay everything off. its taken me this long to rebuy stuff, and find a decent enough job to support the habit. Ive been on the edge of selling it about 100 times, but i just cant seem to let the damn thing go

You're a lot closer than you think! Seats are easy to come by and you can tie five points into that horizontal brace. Honestly if you just went buck wild on the car this weekend I think you could have it running for the week(I've done it doing the same stuff you are). Let's see you've got a small list of wiring things to attend to, running fuel lines, mounting the FPR, and routing a few lines from there. Piece of cake. How is the brake system, is the booster back on yet? That's the one thing I didn't have to mess with when I bought my car. Time to itemize everything in order dividing the tasks into a few days so it's mentally manageable and start attacking, take short breaks, keep beer handy and stick with it. I don't know your car that well but I could see myself having it finished this weekend if it were me and it had been sitting for four years. You got this.

Well, i gotta work from 7am till noon tomorrow, and having a wife and a 10 year old is prying into my car time. It wouldnt be that bad if i had done all this before, but like i said, i took it apart 4 years ago, and thats whats taking so long.

I forgot to mention that the damn roll cage from maximum motorsports isnt welded or bolted in yet. the 2 back bars are about 1 1/2" too short of meeting the wheelwells. i have to take it out, bring it to work, have them extend the back bars then i can at least bolt it in and get my damn interior back in.

everything on this car has been kinda jacked like this, and keeping me from moving forward.

I just want to hear that thing run so bad. You should itemize your list of mechanical stuff and post it. Might be able to help you and it's good to repeat it out loud to yourself know what I mean?

Lol right on my humble suggestion is to put it in order of mechanical things(things needed to make the car run) and non-mechanical and cosmetic things etc.(including cage).
