Help on intake please....

I have a 04 GT with O/R H pipe and flows I want to work on better airflow becuase I hear the stock set up restricts alot of air coming in.

Some people say CAI's are a waste of money others say they help??

Should I just get a new filter and leave my stock setup or get something else.

Any inputs would rock

just get a K&N filter and save for a blower

ok will do.... il buy a k & N tonight and then start putting money aside for a blower.... should have enough for a procharger by aug 04 ... cant wait.

thats awesome. cant believe the K&N wasnt ur first mod i think i put mine in the same day i drove it home HAHAHA

First thing most people do is throw in a K&N and then pull the air silencer out.

eh....just go to Auto Zone. i really didnt feel a difference at all LOL

Im sure it adds something...just not enough to feel LOL. i think its for better MPG more than anything HAHA

If they were restrictive, then I wouldn't be making the kind of power that I am, and I even have the snorkel on it. I just dropped in an Accel Kool Blue filter.

you have a plenum right? that helps out more than the filter. Im not saying K&N's are restrictive, but they dont make any type of mad power. they are a definite inscrease from the paper filters that come stock.
