help........T-56 doesnt want to go in reverse!

i just had a T-56 tranny installed in the GT and its not wanting to go in reverse. any ideas what could be causing this. it started out fine but after driving it awhile it started getting hard to get it in reverse. thanks guys

Does your t56 have the reverse lockout solenoid?

try putting the car in 1sr and pulling forward jsut a hair then try putting it in reverse..works all the time on my t45.. just have to get it lined up right since there is no synchro

T45 also, and if im locked out of reverse, i just clutch out, clutch in, 1st, R...works most of the time

yes it has the reverse lockout solenoid. i tried your suggestions and it worked. thanks alot guys!
