I am looking to hook a Pro Lite up to warn on engine temp and was wonder if anyone has done this. I was wondering which sender you used and if you may have a part number. I had this in my Fox, but never wrote down the part number on the sender. Can any one help??

Thanks.

No comprende, "warn"? Are you talking about a temperature gauge or does it have a warning light also? Try a quick search on "gauge" and you will find several recent threads on installs.

I think he might want to do an idiot light (nothing personal - I cant think of the PC term for the light).

Sounds right only problem is they are monster bright when thet go off and could cause night time nightmares if it does overheat. Pretty simple to get a temp switch and put it in the spare port on the back of the head and wire it up, but I'd rather have a good aftermarket gauge.

Found what I was looking for. Autometer makes a sender for it now that I was unaware of. The sender is for the warning Pro Lite. It is a bright ass idiot light that I wanted as back up for the track in the L. The reason why I posted in here is because I had one on my fox back in the day as well and thought I got some info here.

Thanks

If there is a PC term for idiot light, then it is definitely time for me to drive my car into a freight train at an unlit level crossing at it's highest attainable speed.
