I have MAC = lengths on my 94GT and keep burning the plug boot on # 3.

I have gone throught several sets of wires and my latest ones are the Ford Racing wires and the heat shield plug boot condoms as well.. Burned through the shield and the boot on those.

I am wanting to fix the problem once and for all.

What wires or wraps can I use to keep this from happening?

All the plug wire manufacturers sell boot protectors - you just have to choose which work for your wires and decide how much you want to spend. A lot of them are sickly expensive.

Good luck.

I ran boot protectors for years before I got ceramic coated headers. They worked great... they stopped the burning.

I use Thermo-Tec heat shields with no problems yet. http://store.summitracing.com/partd...part=THE-14250&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch
