The Fox Body Mustang that rolled off the production line between 1978 and 1993 obviously added to the car culture of more than one generation. Some of us like to go down the nostalgia route and simply think of the now-retro pony, while others, whose number seems to keep growing, build crazy-fast...

Eh.....I dunno.

Part of my like of classic looking cars is the fact they lack modern touches to an extent.

I like simplicity too.
Only one computer (an ECU) is good when things go bad. I’d say none is better, but airbag modules and abs computers are ok. But over a dozen when things go bad is a nightmare. I am ready to squish a “New” Beetle because of OBD2 problems, and wishing we had bought a vintage one.

Then there is the ever-present privacy issue.

This is a primary reason I’ll never daily driver a newer car. I’d like to see Big Brother try to hack my 1990 Grand Marquis.
