OK this started just the other day.

When im driving and I put on my heater on in any setting weather it be defrost, front vents, floor vents - whatever and I put my fan setting on high my heater blows out hot air " of course" but when I try to turn the tempeture knob towards the cool side the knob becomes ruff and unwilling to turn that way and when i do get it to the coolest setting and I start to barely turn the knob the other way towards warm/hot it spins by itself to the warm/hot side. ALMOST LIKE THERES A GHOST IN THE CAR. I have no idea what could be causing this.

Also I noticed that my tempeture gage which is still in the normal range is slightly leaned towards the cold side of C...................H. and I mean very slightly.

sound like the cable for the blend door is sticking.

pop the cable off the door and see if it's hard to turn the knob.

Where do I find the blend door and when I do find it- where is the cable located?

i don't have a pic of it but it is between the evap core and heater core in the Heater-A/C ductwork. it should be the only thing controlled by a cable.
