Whats up everyone. I'm new on the forum with a whole load of mustang problems. I'm pulling a P1413, air pump volt low. I replaced the solenoid, the relay, and the pump. Hoses are all good and connected... Still pulling the code, any ideas of what to do next?

Second question I have is during the whole repair process I had switched the CCRM ( also called PCM relay) to an older one from my 1998 mustang that had been in a wreak just incase that had something to do with the problem. Now I know that isnt it so I want to switch back to my old one. The problem is , with it, my AC didnt work anymore. So during the process of switching it back to the original which worked fine, I ran into a snag. The relay didnt want to come out of the wire harness connector. No matter how many times I spun that bolt securing it to the connector, it was stuck in there. I sat there for 30 mins spinning and spinning, it looked like it got right to the point where it was almost out, but just wouldnt go the last millimeter. Got so pissed at it I even tried to pry it off with a screw driver, which just ended up tearing up a bunch of plastic. So I'm thinking I need to cut out that connector and splice a new one into the harness so I can get my old working CCRM back in there. Anything know where I could find one and what it would be called? Thanks everyone!

Regarding the P1413 check the wiring harness. Look for bent/pushed pins or chaffed wires.

For the CCRM connector, try car-part.com.

>>
P1413 Secondary Air Injection System Monitor Circuit Low
    • Open B+ circuit
    • Open AIR circuit
    • Damaged PCM
    • Air circuit short to ground
    • Damaged AIR pump
    • Damaged solid state relay
The AIR monitor circuit is held low by the resistance path through the AIR pump when the pump is off. Also, look for open circuit from SSR to AIR pump.
<<
Double check that the air pump black wire has a good ground path back to battery negative. Use an Ohm meter to measure. Post.

Next look for a problem with the air pump white (WH) wire. Do this at the air pump and solid state relay.

ok, cant do it today because the weather sucks outside. but im checking for 12 volts with the key is on engine off correct? If i dont get that voltage It could be the wire or connector?

I found this CCRM connector http://www.rjminjectiontech.com/products/ccrm-con But it doesnt say what car its good for, only that its for ford. Would this connector work for a 2000 mustang? And how would i take the wires and pins out of the old on and put them in this one without braking them?
