I just bought my 1977 Ghia 302 Coupe Auto here in England where it's been from new with Right Hand Drive. I think it looks great in its own right just so long as you don't expect it to be like the earlier models. It is very retro and amazingly undervalued. It also fits my garage. I'd love to know whether the car came off the line RHD or was converted afterwards and if so where and who by. Here in the UK it doesn't need any emissions equipment just less than 4.5% CO and less than 1200ppm HC on test. I found that the choke flap on the 2 barrel carb was virtually closed with the engine hot. It should be open shouldn't it? I've adjusted it to open by rotating the round thing but have yet to discover whether it still works cold. Bedtime. Sweet II dreams.
