It will be fine but normally they are used for cars with big compression, which our engines do not have. While a high torque starter will work, its not needed.
The Cobra starter is much smaller and lighter and has a much more "appealing" sound. I can't speak as to whether or not it's a direct swap for us or not because I have not done it personally, but I have heard rumors of guys doing it.
