Week 3
Week 3 saw another high scoring, high powered offenses with some gaudy numbers and even gaudier blow-outs. The Ramprats and Bluffing024 continue to class the league with incredible performances from top notch offenses. The Rats double the points of lowly gt40_2003wes and is an example of the haves and have nots. Bluffing024 push MRaburn around like a six year old school girl, scoring at will and often. Beat up, bruised and left for dead it may take a small miracle on the waiver wire to bring those two bottom dwellers up to PeeWee football status.
Other interesting games: JH96GT pulled out a close one with timeless2 on a strong performance by Drew Brees. While the tandem WR/TE combo of Calvin Johnson and Rob Gronkowski of timeless2 put up good numbers it just wasn't enough to overcome the one-man gang of Brees.
In the laugher of the day, The Wasp sent Bakos024 back to the stone age with a 226.8 to 103.8 drubbing on their home field. The game was over at halftime and the home crowd of Bakos024 left the stadium...taking the coach and several of the players with them. They finished watching at Joe's Sports Bar downing jello shots and laughing at the teammates who stayed.
embezzlement outlasted hobiedude to take sole possession of second place in Div 2. While there are several teams at 1-2 it's too early to tell if the season is lost. One game and they could all be back in the hunt.
