Im trying to change my filter but whenever I pull the hose off one end of the old filter gas sprays EVERYWHERE and I have to pop it back on. I used to just open the gas tank on my old truck and that would work fine.
Unplugging the coil wouldnt releave the pressure. It has to run all the gas out of the lines. I just did the switch in the trunk and ran it for like a minute.mo_dingo said:I always unplug the inertia switch in the trunk and crank the motor for 20 seconds or so.
You could also unplug the coil or anything else to make it not start.

I actually got a litlt chemical burn behind my armpit. I was working in a puddle of gas. Guess I did it perfect then. lolHISSIN50 said:If you don't end up with gas running into your armpit, you're not doing it right.
