I am going with a SysteMAX upp/low intake for sure, I was just wondering if the whole kit is worth it.. I'm mainly talking about the cylinder heads and cam... if its expensive then I'll just go with AFR heads, but I didn't see a price so I just thought I'd see if anyone has the whole systemax kit installed.

The kit sells for about 2100 dollars if I'm not mistaken.....

You could get a better deal in my opinion and better quality for that price
AFR 165's - $1300
Holley Systemax - $570
Cam - $130 -325 (depending on the cam you want...)
Timing Chain and ARP bolts - $150 or so

It is about the same price but I think it is a better combo than the systemax kit...I have understand that in the past the systemax heads had a problem with burning oil and the cam is meant for high end horsepower and doesn't have the torque for a reliable daily driver in my opinion.

Your car will for sure need gears to make up for that lose of torque(Do you have a standard or automatic?)

Good luck,
David

If your not a 100% set on getting the Holley system max intake... I would get the Trickflow Power package they now offer... It comes with TW heads, Street heat/ track heat intake, Stage 1 cam, pushrods, timing set, bolts, gaskets, valve covers, roller rockers... for $2069.00 for the street heat kit, and $2129 for the Track heat kit...

Just seems like an awsome deal to me....
