Maybe this is old news to alot of you, but I had to post it. I somehow missed this episode of top gear but no fear, the videos are on their website. 0-60 in 2.9s 300bhp @ 1100 lbs (supercharged civic engine) cost: $52,000

It was just one again like a week or two ago. I saw it and man I'd own one in a heartbeat, even though it is powered by a hinda! LOL!

That thing is rediculous. I love how Tiff Needel puts on a show when he tests cars. Its awesome. I would def. take one in a second if I had the money.

overall tracktime on a flat road type coarse was just ever so slightly slower than the Enzo.

who cares if it will be street legal, they would have to catch you first, and second be able to describe the thing...


I dont see how it would be non-legal, cept. for the no "windscreen" dune buggies are the same basic type construction.

Radio and helicopters are still faster than that thing (ever watch Cops?).

And minor stuff, like ohhhh, no bumpers, emissions, federal crash testing standards, and ya, the lack of a windshield . . . I can't imagine how that could be street legal. Which removes much of the allure. Make it legal, and I'm buying one!!!

If you can make a quad or dun ebuggy street legal, you can make that thing too. I wouldn't care. I'd drive it all over the place and let them pull me over. I'd just offer the cop a ride, hehe.

here in MO you can get them plated, ins. and ect....prob. is a state by state deal though.

Dune buggies are street legal. Atleast here they are as long as they have a weinshield, headlights,taillights,turnsignals, proper tires,etc. then you can get a tag for them and drive them everyday.

A lot of states will allow quads on street, just need lights, signals, tail lights, mirrors and appropiate tires.

Here in NC, I don't think you even need a windshield. I see them all the time without them. They are plated & have all working lights. They're a big thing on the beach.
