I am putting together a GT40 Crate motor with a GT-40 Intake. am I going to have any hood clearance issues and also the K-member will that need to be replaced? I have a vert so not sure if it is different than of a hardtop.

Should be fine with just a GT-40 intake. I don't see why you'd need to replace the k-member either.

Yeah you do. The SVO one would prolly go the best...intead of something like Edelbrock or Trick Flow written on it.

I have the GT-40 on and have no hood clearance problems. You will need a different strut tower brace, though. Also, I'd go with the SVO elbow, it matches the GT40 intake nicely. You can sometimes find them on ebay.
