Thin blade screwdriver to engage the door lock pin rod and lift is all you need.

IIRC, aboit 10 years ago it was a common topic to remove those rods due to how easy it was to open a door

Got it all cleaned up after the road trip. It was pretty filthy.

I have not cared, mine stays locked in the garage, and if I were to leave it unattended for any length of time in public, I would simply pull the rotor from under the distributor and the car is going no where under it's own power and it's highly unlikely a thief would troubleshoot it.
