I like to look on ebay and hemmings, etc just to see what out there and I almost fell outta my chair when I came across this. I looked at the pick before clicking the thing hoping it was an R with the wrong wheels, nope. This guys is off his rocker if he thinks he can push a regular cobra into R territory, maybe not even off his rocker like lived next to 3 mile island burned away his brain cells off his rocker. I would think $15 grand for a low mileage would push it, getting into the twenties would be going extreme right now but noo lets jump right into fourties .

How about a nice red $44,900 cobra

$44,000 engine bay with really cool cai

maybe not you but if I had the cash 25K for a 93R would be a steal, those things are going for more than the 2000R and are the hot item right now, with only what 107 made only a few hit the market a time.

To each his own

The 00' Cobra R just isn't old enough yet, only 300 of them were produced. They will see a lot more money as well in years to come, and I still wouldn't pay it. Even though it's more 'Race' compared to an 00 GT than a 93 R is compared to a 93 GT.

I'd rather have a clean GT or Cobra with similar mods, save my money and call it a day. I realize the R's are a collector's item, but being stripped down interior/functionality wise they don't appeal to me for the much larger price tag.

And your point would be what? That's like comparing apples and Rolexes.
