How accurate does a Shelby drop jig need to be?

I got a template from a source I will not name and the rear hole is off by 1/32" in two directions: back and down. This is the the right rear hole in the link (top template).

This http://www.mustangdepot.com/graphics/up-cnt-temp.pdf measures up perfectly when I print it, but the plate I was sold does not index over this model.

Is this 1/32" error going to cause a problem?

I should have made my own template!

1/32"? Get out your round file and fix it.

I definitely would not sweat it. I would be surprised if the original holes are even held to 1/32" accuracy. Forward and back affects caster which is adjusted during alignment. Up and down affects camber curve. .0315" would not change handling enough to notice.

I agree, it's not a big deal. The holes can be off from the factory more than that. These cars were made to some " Loose " specs. for sure.

I know several people who used the paper templates and ended up with holes that the arm wouldn't even go into.

I am working with one of our customers who noticed that the PO put the template on backwards and drilled the holes down and forward
