I've heard that you to do a few things to get this small portion of the front. The front with the fins/vents between the grill and headlights. Isn't the hood a little bit longer with it? Or something like that? Please give me some info on this.
So this is my ride.

Or is it possible to do this front end for my 67 mustang fastback?

I think you are talking about the "gills" found only on 64.5-66 years. You have a 67, if you want to cut them out of a 65-66 and weld them in that would do it. Or you could sell your car and get a 65-66. Sorry dude.

And the second photo you edited in is of a 69 Mustang. Same thing. you could possibly try to mold everything together. I think you might like the eleanor front end kit or a "R model" front apron for a 67 with a front chin spoiler. You're gonna want sonething that will fit 67-68 bodies. It took a while for me to learn what would swap on what years. Good luck.

I hope you don't mean this?

Hopefully you mean something more like this?

The first one is an "Eleanor" modified Shelby front end. The second is a legit '67 Shelby front end. Both are indeed longer than your current setup and would require a new hood, fender extentions, and maybe front valence. The parts to do either conversion are readily available but kinda pricey.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Just want to see what my options are. I really like the Legit 67 shelby front end. Sites to get new good/fender extions, and front valence. Also any pics of a 67 with a lip like that 69 grey one has.

I think we're talking about the same thing when you say "headlight buckets" and I say "fender extensions", but I tend to think of the headlight bucket fitting into the fender extension.

As for a site for parts, check Branda or Maier Racing .

Have fun.

Well thank you...

We sell both Fiberglass Specialties and Maier Racing "junk!"

That covers about 90% of what's on the market!

I know! It's a tough world out there! You all know our intentions and our commitment to serving you guys.

This customer bought some e2 buckets earlier in the year and wasn't happy I guess. I just don't understand why he didn't just send them back for credit if he wasn't happy. So he's slamming us everytime he gets a chance.

I know this particular part is not easy to fit, but there is a couple of hundred others that haven't said much.

We've got an install how to coming on this to give some of these guys a little help.

Jay

Do the front end pieces come sold separately? Like the nose pieces/headlight buckets and front apron or would I have to buy the whole kit? I was just looking to get the fender flares and the nose/headlight bucket pieces around the top grill. Is that doable? I already have a racing apron with bumper.

My 1st choice, do the full Shelby front. There a ton of parts you'll need and it will cost about $2K

My 2nd choice, do a poor-man's Shelby, that is what I decided to do on mine.

My 3rd choice, do a mild change like black out the grille entirely, or use a 5.0 badge in it.

My 4th choice, go for a factory GT/GTA look.

.........................skip a few choices here.....................

My 999,998th choice, duplicate this.

My 999,999th choice, do an Eleanore.

only one thing can be said about that, crush it, and I don't condone crushing of classic mustangs. But I think that is the only way to fix that one. I shed a tear for the waste of a good mustang. [sniff]
