I've been trying to figure out how to take the bottom part of the back seat and just can't figure out how to release the two latches in the front. What's the key?

On mine I just slide my hand under find the release push in. Some say use the seatbelt I've never needed it.
Oh a tip on putting it back in line it up push the belts back through and latch the shoulder strap in then pop it in place.

Some of these release buttons can be stiff, particularly if the seat has not been removed for several years. Pushing down on the cushion, while pushing in the button, to reduce the tension, helps. The handle of a big wooden cooking spoon make a good, safe tool to push in the release button.
