I have a 2007 GT vert, and I want to replace the 18's with 20's and I will eventually lower the car too.

Who has experience with this?

We have 20's and the car has been lowered 1 1/2 inches looks good , but 2 inches would be better, you will need to remove the rear bump stops as there is only 1 1/4 inches of clearance. Good luck!!!!

My GT Coupe is lowered on Roush springs all round and has 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear all wearing 275/35 tires which is roughly the same rolling radius as stock. No issues at all.

The lowering ability wont change with a 20 inch rim versus an 18. The tire diameter and width stay the same, so the overall amount of room under there ont change a bit. you can lower it as much as with stock wheels.

They have a braket that mounts to the frame, they are yellowish orange and they keep the rear akle tubes from hitting the frame when you hit a big bump in the road. I do not know if anybody make a lower profile bump stop!!! Here is a picture with our car with 20's lowered 1 1/2 inches.
