Does any one have any "blueprints" on how to make a rear seat delete for a hatch back???

Materials?
Time?
Cost?

I really don't want to spend $100+ for an already made one

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

The saleens had said rear seat delete. Find some interior pics. All I would do is use some MDF to rough out the seat bottom and back up to the hatch area and a little up on the sides to meet the interior panels and burry it in carpet.

medium density fiberboard. same stuff sub boxes are made out of. Very easy to work with and fairly inexpensive.

I would make myself up a template(head to sears or the like and try to get a couple fridge/ezchair/washer/drier boxes) then move it to mdf. Shouldnt need to be real thick, 3/8" would prolly be overkill. A can of 3m spary on adhesive and some carpet and your golden.
