How do you lighten the rotating assembly? Does this really work? Say for example with a supercharger as well...does 300rwhp from a supercharged mustang go faster than from a 300rwhp n/a that is not getting arm jammed down into it at high velocities?

don't be as concerned with the engine side of the rotating assembly. I'm pretty sure he was referring to the entire driveline. flywheel, driveshaft, gears are most important, then you're going to want to be concerned with a lightweight crankshaft + light weight connecting rods and pistons.

Cool. Everything is a give and take though. Iheard the lightweight flywheels make noise.

Lightweight forged pistons/ connecting rods. Internally balanced crankshaft (has more weight at the center than a pair of 50 oz weights at the damper and flywheel) works kind of like when you're spinning around in a deskchair and you have your legs tucked in vs. extended. lightened flywheel, driveshaft.

A 300hp supercharged mustang will go faster than a 300hp NA motor becuase it has more torque. this is when comparing identical mustangs and the only variable is the engine.
